How You Can Help

ASHLEY

Ashley, is a single mom who is courageously battling terminal cancer. She’s about to start her last round of chemo, which is expected to give her six more months. Despite her ongoing treatments, Ashley’s primary focus remains on her daughter, Rainleigh, who will turn five in December.

Rainleigh was born prematurely and has ASD, requiring ongoing medical care and treatments following eye surgery at 18 months. Ashley and Rainleigh live with Ashley’s parents, who provide as much support as they can. However, the family is under financial strain; Ashley’s father is unable to work, and her mother is the sole provider.

Rainleigh’s father passed away last year, adding to the family’s emotional and financial challenges. Ashley’s health struggles make it difficult for her to speak clearly, and ongoing chemo treatments have deteriorated her palate. Despite these hardships, Ashley’s main wish is to create lasting memories for her daughter.

About The Mom Collective

The Mom Collective is a community-driven platform founded by three friends who saw the need for greater support for mothers in need. Through the power of social media, we’ve created a network where volunteers come together to share resources and uplift those facing challenges. Our mission is to empower women by fostering a nurturing environment where every woman feels valued, and together, we can inspire positive change.

The term “Mom” within ‘The Mom Collective’ emphasizes our goal to support mothers in need, but as volunteers, we welcome everyone – fathers, sisters, aunts, uncles, grandmothers, friends, and the entire community – to unite for this cause.
